I got an email from Maxis since I tried _ Sims Online _.
Apparently EA-Land is online and free. It is supposed to have a basis in the Sims program.
I haven't looked at EA-Land.

Re: EA-Land from Maxis, the Sims Company
Tue, March 4, 2008 - 9:14 PMYeah, I heard that since The Sims Online wasn't doing well, they made it free, so as to compete with other, popular free sites.
I tried The Sims Online when it first came out, and I did like it in a strange way...but once I got past my free trial, I never went back. That was years ago now, and I actually didn't realize it was even still around!
I do want to check out EA Land one of these days.... -

Wed, March 5, 2008 - 8:21 AMI got a free trial game when it first came out...the game crashed my pc when I was trying to load it...that killed any enthusiasm I had for the game.
