One of my Sims' lifetime want was to marry off 6 children. Since college boys are old enough to procreate, I thought it would be funny if he could accomplish this goal while still in college, thanks to the help of my trusty multi-purpose painting. (Yes, I cheat, and no, I'm not sorry...it's just so fun!)
So, 3 girls around the village decided to help Ogden out and each had a set of twins for him. They grew quickly and one by one, each one fell in love with a local and got married. One of the middle children, Miriam fell in love with her childhood girlfriend and the two of them joined in a union and were considering adopting their first child.
What I didn't realize, was that a same sex union does not count as a marriage. When Ogden's last born finally got hitched, I was wondering why Ogden didn't go platinum, but then it hit me...Miriam. In order to make her daddy happy, she had to break up with her girlfriend and marry the only eligible bachelor in the village...a randy, aged Sim I had created as a live-in sitter for another one of my Sim families (I hate nannys...all they do is play pool and pee on your floor).
Well, Ogden's now permanently platinum, so I think I'm gonna have Miriam make-up with her girlfriend and dump the old goat....at least they won't have to adopt a child, because Nanny MacPhearson insisted on a wedding night.
