Free Time is not my favorite EP. I do like that some of my Sims can now make clothing at home without having to go shopping, but the custom clothing they can make once they attain their gold badge is really lame. I also question their assignment of hobby to activity..bowling should be both a game and a sport, fishing should also be considered a sport as well as a nature activity, and why can't they gain any hobby experience while roller/ice skating? At the very least it should count as a fitness activity. I also don't like how quickly their enthusiasm in any hobby wanes.
I also wish that the magic genie lamp could be put on a table, and not have to sit on the floor.
I also really hate the hobby people that call or stop by every time your Sim gains skill. They drive me nuts! I am just grateful that they can turn the ringer off and screen phone calls now.

You must get Apartment Life! It is much better than Free Time and the magic is awesome!
